At an early age, he and his family moved to Atlanta, Georgia and at age 7 he became involved with his church drama department. Soon after, Justin’s natural talent for acting was discovered and he began acting in commercials and local theater productions. In 2003, after working professionally for two years in Atlanta, Justin and his family traveled to Los Angeles for pilot season. Justin’s parents figured they would only stay for about three weeks; however Justin continued to work for five months.
